This policy explains what we do with your personal data and, in particular, with the photo you upload to the configurator. Body copy on this template is placeholder text; the final wording will be supplied by legal counsel.
1. Who is responsible
String Frame, operated in collaboration with WireStyle, Havenstraat 12, 1013 AA Amsterdam, Netherlands, is the controller for the data described here. Reach us at studio@stringframe.com.
2. What we collect
We collect only what an order needs, plus what you choose to send us.
- Order data: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone.
- The photo you upload and the configuration you approve.
- Message content if you use the contact form.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser and pages visited.
3. The photos you upload
Your photo is used for one purpose: producing your picture. You keep all rights to it.
Important
Uploads are deleted 30 days after delivery. We never publish a customer photo or time-lapse, and never use one in marketing, without your written permission.
4. Payment data
Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers and never reach our servers. We store only the transaction reference and the method used, so we can process refunds.
5. Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time.
6. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for the statutory retention period. Uploaded photos are deleted 30 days after delivery. Contact-form messages are deleted after twelve months.
7. Who else sees it
Data is shared only with the parties needed to fulfil your order: the WireStyle workshop, the shipping carrier, the payment provider and our hosting provider. None of them may use it for their own purposes.
8. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your data, and object to processing. Write to studio@stringframe.com and we answer within one month. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office, the federal authority for personal data protection.
