These terms apply to every order placed through stringframe.com. Placing an order means you accept them. Body copy on this template is placeholder text; the final wording will be supplied by legal counsel.
1. Who we are
String Frame is operated in collaboration with WireStyle, Havenstraat 12, 1013 AA Amsterdam, Netherlands. Trade licence and VAT registration (TRN) numbers are listed in the imprint.
2. Orders and prices
All prices include VAT at the applicable UAE rate and are shown in UAE dirhams (AED). A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may correct obvious pricing errors before production starts.
- Payment is taken in full at checkout.
- Accepted methods are listed at checkout and may change.
- Vouchers are redeemable against any picture and never expire.
3. Custom pictures
Custom pictures are produced from the photo you upload and the preview you approve. We send a final proof by email; production starts only after your written approval.
Important
Because each custom picture is made to order for one customer, it is not covered by change-of-mind returns under UAE consumer protection law. The 100% satisfaction guarantee in section 5 applies instead, and nothing here limits your statutory rights where the goods are faulty or not as described.
4. Production and delivery
Production takes two to three weeks and shipping a further one to three days. Stated times are indications, not guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery. Shipments are insured and tracked.
5. Returns and guarantee
Ready-made pictures may be returned within 30 days in original packaging. For every order, custom included, our 100% satisfaction guarantee applies: report the problem within 14 days of delivery and we rework the picture or refund you.
6. Photos and rights
You keep all rights to the photo you upload and confirm that you are allowed to use it. We use it only to produce your picture and delete it 30 days after delivery. We never publish a customer photo or time-lapse without written permission.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the order value, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for damage caused by hanging a picture incorrectly or exposing it to damp or direct sunlight.
8. Applicable law
The laws of the United Arab Emirates apply. Disputes go to the competent courts of Dubai, unless UAE consumer protection law assigns another forum.
